Ada R. Habershon

Habershon, Ada R. (Ada Ruth), 1861-1918

Ada era filha do Dr. Samuel Osborne Habershon e Grace Habershon. Em 1901, ela começou a escrever poesia enquanto estava doente e escreveu “Apart with Him” ​. Ela conheceu Dwight Moody e Ira Sankey quando eles visitaram Londres em 1884 e visitou os Estados Unidos a convite deles para proferir palestras sobre o Antigo Testamento, que foram posteriormente publicadas. Durante a Missão Torrey-Alexander de 1905, Charles Alexander pediu que ela compusesse algumas canções gospel. Em um ano, ela contribuiu com 200 hinos.
